For qualified divers (PADI Open Water at least) we arrange dive excursions to all the best dive spots around shimoni. These vary according to your level of experience form shallow dive s to deeper dives.
These dives can be done as a additional excursion on a snorkeling trip to Kisite, or as a dedicated day diving around the other islands and off shore at deeper reefs.
The excursion includes all your dive gear and a professional guide or instructor.
If you would like to dive there is no finer location to have a personal experience in small groups ( probably just you and the instructor) and train in shallow clean water.

Diving courses: PADI – or SSI
If you want personal service, small courses, maybe even just you one on one with an instructor, then you will definitely have selected the perfect location to conduct the training. As a bonus many of the initial dives that are a required in a dive course must be done at shallow depths , and the marine park is full of shallow clear water with plenty of life to make the training interesting and the currents are manageable most of the time. Easy does it!
The Open Water Diver course includes all training material, 5 theory lessons, 5 pool lessons, 4 open water dives & a snorkel dive. When you pass the test at the end you receive the Open Water Diver certificate. Very few fail. You can then dive world wide without direct instructor supervision.
Its well recommended to stay on for another two days enjoying your newly found freedom underwater & do four dives on the most spectacular dive sites you may ever dive This way you will confidently take these skills with you when you plan your next dive holiday.
Other courses, such as the advanced open water diver course, and many specialties are available, and can be done in as little as 2 days.
Generally speaking we encourage the PADI training system, it is the worlds largest training network. We also offer SSI, (Scuba Schools International). Most of the skills, and system of teaching are very similar, and when enquiring about training we will inform you which instructor is available. The costs are the same.
