Private Dhow Experience

Join our signature private boat experience to the marine park aboard a traditional Swahili dhow. Our Marine Park Explorer package is designed around time in the water, with reef exploration, swimming and unhurried stops around Kisite–Mpunguti Marine Park and the surrounding islands.
At Kisite island you can swim in the warm, shallow waters and snorkel over a coral sanctuary full of tropical fish, or relax in the soft sands.

For a Sundowner Experience, set sail on a private evening journey tailored to your plans. Imagine a trip to a deserted island surrounded by a coral reef teeming with fish, passing multiple islands and looking out for our resident wild dolphins along the way.

If the tides are in your favour, you can relax on the sand bar and revel in the luxury of being in the middle of the ocean with nothing around but sea, sand and a coral reef. On your way back, stop off at the island sanctuary of Mpunguti for some snacks and refreshments all alone on this deserted island.

Our expert guides will be with you at all times and are happy to help any guests who need more attention in the water or who don't have experience snorkeling.

Upon returning to Shimoni, we will organise a spectacular meal with a fresh selection of local seafood and produce - we are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements.
